Omar Powell is an enigmatic and award-nominated creative professional with experience in fast-paced environments across social media, digital & linear production, storytelling and marketing.
As a willing collaborator, Powell has led, strategized and built brands from within individual and team constructs to further client initiatives and objectives by reaching key performance indicators. This includes integrated media campaigns, developing strategies, producing content and drafting playbooks for partners at the aforementioned
Jordan Brand, ESPN, and Laundry Service.
In his professional career; Powell has worked with ESPN's SneakerCenter as the lead strategist and Social Media Specialist – and under his direction drove 257,000 followers to the account in 20 months. With Laundry Service, Powell has partnered with Meta Spark – driving engagement to their social channels, driving 3 million engagements from 2020-21 year-over-year with Amazon Music; developed content with Jordan Brand and Foot Locker in new business opportunities.
Capable of developing and elevating any brand and account across sports, entertainment, culture and technology; Powell's work garnered recognition as an Official Honoree during the 24th Annual Webby Awards in 2020, as bestowed by
